Stable construction for poultry fattening

Houses for poultry fattening are characterized by cost-effective construction. A construction reduced to the essentials with isopanels on the roof and wall keeps investment costs low, yet meets the highest quality standards. Particularly important here are clever detailed solutions that allow easy and thorough cleaning after depopulation.
The additional air space in the roof triangle improves air quality and also provides the possibility of later conversion. Depending on the production and marketing method, a cold-scratching room as an extension can be realized or prepared for later retrofitting.

Roof construction

In renowned HÖRMANN quality, we construct building envelopes of all roof forms. A combination of laminated wooden trusses and inserted laminated wooden purlins has proven effective. This creates a smooth surface for a sandwich roof and avoids gaps in the roof. With insulation thicknesses between 60 mm and 100 mm, the necessary thermal insulation is achieved.

This roof construction meets the same hygienic requirements as an insulated suspended ceiling:

few hiding spots for pests
(e.g., mites)
no possibilities for dust deposits
lower costs and improved stable air quality due to higher air space

Cold-scratching room – A covered additional run for laying hens

A cold-scratching room increases the comfort for laying hens in floor housing. It offers the animals additional run space in a dry and sheltered environment. Depending on the requirements for light and wind permeability, we have simple galvanized wire meshes, perforated sheets, or windbreak nets for a cold-scratching room.
