HÖRMANN control technology (HKS) - our smart control solution for your stable
The HÖRMANN control technology allows you to centrally control and regulate a multitude of technical installations within the stable. With just one control unit, side ventilation, lighting systems, Light-Air-Ridge, and manure removal systems can be operated. The new concept is infinitely expandable. It can be equipped with special temperature and weather sensors, for example, for reliable automatic operation. With the new HKS V6 version, fans and other equipment can also be managed. Another advantage: The HÖRMANN control technology reduces your electricity consumption.

HÖRMANN concept LED (HKL) - the smart LED technology to save electricity
Targeted lighting control increases milk yield. According to studies, cows benefit most from 16 hours of LED daylight (150-200 Lux) and 8 hours of darkness. Lighting consumes electricity and therefore generally costs money. The HÖRMANN-developed concept LED technology allows the stable or hall to be optimally illuminated with very low electricity costs and almost maintenance-free. Combined with the HÖRMANN control technology (HKS), dynamic dimming is possible, providing optimal lighting with minimal electricity consumption.

The HÖRMANN bow self-locking grid with safety swing for cattle and goats
In the bow self-locking grid, animals can quickly escape due to the open-top construction. An advantage that is even necessary for animals with horns.
The safety swing on the HÖRMANN bow self-locking grid offers animals more freedom of movement while feeding. In emergencies, this allows trapped animals to be freed. The bow self-locking grid is clamped onto a 70 x 70 mm galvanized square tube with U-bolts. This provides stable support while also allowing for flexibility in later adjustments. In addition to the bow self-locking grid for cattle, we also offer bow self-locking grids for goats.

Covered single stalls for cattle
HÖRMANN has always had experience with stable equipment, among other things, for cattle through the practical experience of field service staff and their own specialist department "Cattle". It is therefore not surprising that HÖRMANN has over 10 different types of covered single stalls in the program. HÖRMANN calf boxes: simply robust
As a manufacturer of stable equipment, we plan and manufacture the calf boxes for our stables ourselves. This way we can ensure that the calves are raised under optimal conditions. At the same time, we can offer our customers an attractive price-performance ratio.
HÖRMANN calf boxes give the calves enough space and freedom of movement in the box. In addition, when designing the calf boxes we made sure that our calf boxes are robust and easy to clean.

Our solutions for manure removal from the walkways
The broad scraper manure removal has proven itself for level-floored runways in cattle barns. HÖRMANN develops and produces cable-based manure removal systems for this purpose. These include the scraper, the drive, and the deflection rollers. The broad scrapers are available for all surface coverings and are characterized by an extremely robust and heavy construction.
The HÖRMANN cable drive stations are suitable for floor and wall mounting. The broad scraper is moved with a forward and a retract winch. In combination with the HKS, precise control with multiple start and stop points is possible. The HÖRMANN broad scraper is also available as a reversing scraper, foldable in the middle, or with laterally limited wings. With only 22 cm height, it is easily accepted by the animals. Large drive winches and deflection rollers protect the traction cable, which consists of either V2A or plastic. You can find more information and our various drop-off options under Details.

Of course, we support you in selecting the optimal lying mats for elevated booths or in choosing the perfect rubber mats for the walking surfaces.
- High booth coverings: Comfort lying mats for dairy and young cattle guarantee an animal-friendly, dry, and non-slip lying surface. The rubber mats are available as seamless roll goods, with a puzzle system, as single mats, or as an installation version with profiles.
- Brisket boards have an influence on lying and getting up behavior and ensure clean lying boxes. We also provide the appropriate mounting material for brisket boards made of rubber, plastic, or wood.
- Walking walkway coverings: Rubber coverings for level stabilized walking surfaces or slatted floors offer a soft and non-slip covering in the stable.

HÖRMANN has been working with the experienced slatted floor manufacturers NAGL and ANDERS BETON for many years. This allows us to guarantee a non-slip walking surface, a stable construction, long lifespan, and animal-friendly functionality according to DIN 18908. The slatted floors are made with concrete of grade C35/45 (formerly B45) and are highly resistant to chemical influences. Both for the installed drinking troughs and any accessories, we focus on quality and durability. This is why HÖRMANN has been cooperating with the company Suevia, whose products have high functionality and long lifespan, for many years in terms of drinking troughs and troughs.
For cattle brushes, we rely on the proven cattle brushes from SCHURR, as well as the claw care from WERNER. Our other accessories for stable equipment also include stable fans, ventilation tubes, and pre-cast concrete parts as brisket and scatter boards.
