We manufacture your steel hall tailored to your needs. The design of a HÖRMANN steel hall is possible both supported and with large free-spanning widths .
Our steel halls can be used flexibly in various areas and impress with their robustness and stability. Detailed planning, professional manufacturing and assembly by trained personnel are carried out by HÖRMANN from one source. Whether you want a simple steel hall or a complex steel construction design – with us, decades of competence are combined with economical thinking in all phases of your project. This is evidenced by numerous steel hall construction projects with around 7,000 tons of processed steel annually.

Wooden hall construction

Wood is the original building material for the construction of buildings and is gaining more importance again due to its sustainable origin. In hall construction, the wood construction method offers high flexibility. It allows for great planning freedom from extension to an existing structure to new hall construction. With our construction method, large free-spanning widths up to a width of 60 can be realized. In addition to sustainability, wood often provides a crucial advantage in fire protection concerns. Wooden constructions such as wood frame construction are indispensable in hall construction.

We, the company HÖRMANN, design and construct in hall construction with great preference a mix of steel and wood, thereby combining the advantages of both building materials. The so-called steel-glulam construction is a construction with slender steel supports and sustainable wood upper chords. As a result, large spans or high snow loads rarely pose challenges.
In our production facility in Buchloe, we rely on modern technology for the highest quality and optimal assembly process.

Steps to the realization of your building

1. At the beginning, there is an idea and the desire to build

You or your architect already have an idea of your construction project, then now is a good time to bring us on board. Whether you have only a vague idea or already a concrete idea, we are at your side with our expertise and long-standing experience offering advice. Ideally, you already have a plot of land to realize your construction project so that we can get started right away.

2. Well-advised even in the draft phase

Following the idea is the draft planning. Our advisory team takes a lot of time for you and plans your project with you. During the conception, we make sure that your building is optimally tailored to your operational processes and economic execution possibilities.

3. Free 3D visualisation

Based on a cost estimate, you will receive your initial offer from us. This also includes a 3D-visualized planning of your construction project including an initial static pre-dimensioning. This gives you a concrete idea of your construction project and the incurred costs.

4. Approval planning

After the commissioning, we or your architect take over the input planning. We also create your building application in our planning department and support you in obtaining the building permit for your hall construction. Of course, we also develop a fire protection concept for the authorities.

5. Implementation planning in our in-house planning office

When the approval planning is complete, the construction phase begins. This means our structural engineers perform the static calculations. Our designers create the substructure and superstructure plans.

6. Manufacturing: Pre-elementation for faster on-site construction

All essential components and components for your building are produced in our factory in Buchloe and as far as possible prepared for assembly. We always keep an eye on factors such as maximum transport dimensions, highest transport weight, or the largest possible load on the construction cranes.

7. Execution and assembly

The in-house production and prefabrication at our company headquarters enable efficient and precise on-site assembly. This saves time on the construction site and reduces the construction time. All work from the foundation to the roof can be carried out by us. Self-performance is equally possible. Experienced craftsmen and assemblers build your building.
