Hay barn or storage barn – always a question of construction

Characteristic of storage barns in general and hay or straw barns in particular are self-supporting structures, often made of wood, without intermediate supports with large spans. The storage of hay and straw can be realized as bale storage, stage storage, or with individual storage boxes. A wide range of building materials and design options are available for the construction of your barn. Depending on the purpose, insulated or uninsulated variants may be used.

For the inner wall cladding in barns where hay and straw are stored, a smooth surface is important. Substructures for crane vehicles are useful for transporting feed. A separate air duct provides additional ventilation in the barn. Optionally, drying boxes are also recommended, especially in hay barns.
