What is important in the construction of agricultural halls?
HÖRMANN offers a variety of construction systems for agricultural buildings. From the steel building to the glued laminated wood building to the arch binder building, we construct individual agricultural halls. We are well-versed in concrete construction, door systems, roof constructions, wall constructions, and supporting structures. We also have the appropriate doors for agricultural buildings of all kinds, such as machinery halls.
- Best possible storage conditions
- Optimal use of space
- Well-considered entrance and exit possibilities
- Roof covering and wall cladding tailored to usage
- Variable usage possibilities
- Possibility of economical F30 construction if needed
Concrete construction with HÖRMANN
The substructure forms the basis for a well-functioning agricultural hall. Whether a bore pile foundation, single footing, strip foundation, or extended base slab is used in the hall depends on the type of hall, the purpose of use, the customer's preference, and the local conditions. The HÖRMANN engineering team supports you in deciding between the different concrete construction methods, taking into account deadlines and the best cost-benefit ratio. The concrete work can be completed entirely by HÖRMANN.
Concrete construction as precast elements or in-situ concrete
The use of precast concrete elements is advantageous due to the short construction time and smooth wall surfaces. The double-walled sections are connected at the factory with lattice girders and become self-supporting through connecting reinforcement from the foundations. The precast panels serve as formwork, already providing the structurally required reinforcement. The hardening of the infill concrete produces a homogeneous wall cross-section like a monolithically constructed concrete wall. HÖRMANN offers self-supporting double walls with cast concrete, solid walls, or sandwich walls.
Door systems in our HÖRMANN halls – functional and variable
HÖRMANN swing and sliding doors are space-saving and economical. They ensure smooth working processes in the hall through their high functionality and quality.
The sliding doors from HÖRMANN are available as aluminum/wood composite frames or aluminum/sandwich.
We install for you in various designs:
-
Sliding doors
-
Swing doors
-
Sectional doors
-
Roller doors
-
Folding doors
Roof constructions and wall construction of a HÖRMANN hall
The roof and the outer wall give each hall a distinctive identity. The design is therefore determined by aesthetic as well as practical reasons, such as maintenance and, of course, the cost factor.
Various roof options are available for agricultural halls:
-
Insulated designs against condensation and overheating
-
Smooth undersides for a good room climate
-
Uninsulated designs as a cost-effective variant
Load-bearing structure of a HÖRMANN hall
We offer you the optimal load-bearing structure for your agricultural hall. From galvanized steel and glued laminated timber constructions or in combination as a steel-glulam construction. A hall with arch trusses is also possible. More about the various types of construction of a HÖRMANN hall can be found under Details.
